Over the years that we have hosted wonderful couples for their various, individual, fabulous and incomparable occasions, we’ve noticed that its often the case that they encourage friends and families to stay longer in Cornwall.

At Trenderway, we’re incurable romantics, so we thought we’d explore that most romantic of romantic things: The Valentine’s Day Proposal. Well yes indeed, it’s ever so slightly cheesy and a bit of a cliche... and yet... what a wonderful thing! He or she getting down on one knee and popping that question to which, surely, the answer has to be ‘Yes pleeeeease!’

Trenderway’s Cornish stone barn, twinkling with fairy lights, to a sun-spilled feast in the scenic grounds, abloom with colour, the venue offers rural romance in abundance. 

When biker Shane was riding home from picking up an engagement ring for his girlfriend Tracy last summer, he was not expecting to get caught up in a life-changing accident. With help from the Emergency Services and hospital staff, the ring was hidden and kept safe until Shane was able to pop the question.
